Avacuna exposes the transactional value creation potential of information systems governance frameworks and processes to transform underutilized knowledge capital into competitive advantages and improved valuations for its clients and their stakeholders. The company is privately funded and based in Boca Raton, Florida.

Explosive growth opportunities exist throughout the firm’s principal practice areas including IT compliance and data security audit, risk management and electronic content/record management. Worldwide compliance regulations are driving high-profile business and IT activities for financial compliance, corporate governance and risk management. In the electronic content management domain, corporate storage capacities are doubling every ten months. Simultaneously, businesses must retain and classify electronically stored information to comply with laws governing data discovery and reconcile new and dynamically changing data applications. Many companies lack the in-house regulatory, technical and procedural expertise necessary to address these requirements comprehensively and benefit from the support available through external consulting engagements. At Avacuna, we work closely with CFOs, CIOs, CSOs, general counsels and IT operations to develop and deliver sustainable, consistent and risk-based data management strategies using well-established governance controls and processes.

We are recruiting full-time or part-time commission-based sales executives motivated by an extraordinary career path with unlimited income potential. Based on your demonstrated regional success, the opportunity for an expanded national territory may be available to you on an accelerated basis.

Description / Responsibilities:

  • Sales / service selling to C-level executives and IT audit decision-makers
  • Commission-based compensation plan
  • Generate opportunities by identifying and contacting appropriate business targets (primarily IT C-Level and finance)
  • Secure appointments, describe Avacuna’s compliance consulting services and close prospects
  • Proactively manage the end-to-end business development process
  • Develop a sales pipeline and qualify opportunities
  • Work closely with Managing Partner on sales strategy

Skills Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Competitive self-starter with a ‘hunter’ mentality
  • Proven success at cold calling into accounts
  • Basic familiarity with IT infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Two or more years sales experience with a services company
  • Successful sales record of achieving or exceeding assigned sales quota
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Local territory experience and a book of business is a preferred
